Safelight is a darkroom-friendly utility app, not a certified safelight. No phone or tablet screen can be guaranteed safe for every photographic paper, film, or chemical process. Always perform a standard safelight/fog test with your specific paper, device brightness, working distance, and darkroom setup before using the app for important prints.

If you have previously purchased Safelight Pro and it is not active, you can restore it from within the app. Open the app settings, navigate to the Pro section or Paywall, and tap "Restore Purchases". Ensure you are logged into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

No. Safelight is designed as a local-first utility for the darkroom. The core timer, f-stop calculator, test strip runner, and session saving all work offline. An internet connection is only needed to purchase or restore a Pro subscription, or to access external support and legal links.

Safelight Pro includes a CSV/Text export feature, allowing you to share your saved sessions via email, messaging, or other apps on your device. Currently, there is no automatic cloud sync, so exporting your data manually is the best way to back it up or move it.
